You are invited to be part of the 2023 Memorial Day Parade!
“We don’t know them all, but we owe them all”

An LMSA member will reach out to you upon receipt of your application, but here are a few details to take note of:
By Thursday, May 25, 2023, you will receive an email with your parade number and the time to be at the Fairgrounds. We are staging this in time slots to help us be able to line up the parade in a more orderly fashion. Line-up starts at 8:30 am at the Fairgrounds.
NO VEHICLES OTHER THAN THOSE IN THE PARADE WILL BE ALLOWED INSIDE THE GATES, NO EXCEPTIONS!!
Please carpool. There is no parking on the Fairgrounds.
ALL EQUESTRIAN ENTRIES need to provide their own animal clean up. Equestrians will be given clear instructions where to line up.
AS OF FRIDAY MAY 19, WE WILL NO LONGER ACCEPT CHANGES TO THE SCRIPT YOU PROVIDED
ANYTHING BEING THROWN FROM YOUR VEHICLE OR FLOAT WILL CAUSE YOU TO BE DISQUALIFIED FROM ANY JUDGING. If you want to distribute candy, you may have someone walk on the edge of the crowd and throw it into the crowd from there NOT FROM YOUR VEHICLE OR FLOAT. It is against our insurance regulations.
Please make sure that all participants in your group are aware of the rules and understand them. All participants MUST sign the waiver that is in this registration packet. We will be checking on the day of the parade. If a signature is missing, they will not be allowed to be in the parade.
ENTRY FEE: All equestrian entries must pay a fee of $10 per horse. This is due with your registration. Please make checks payable to the Lakeport Main Street Association.
