The coronavirus pandemic may have canceled Pumpkin & Dia de los Muertos Festival, but Lakeport residents and businesses are still encouraged to take the celebration from downtown Lakeport to the lawn and storefronts.
The Lakeport Main Street Association is hosting a Pumpkin & Dia de los Muertos Yard Decoration Display Contest for our residents and businesses.
Residence winners will be declared in the following categories:
Pumpkins-Halloween/Fall Seasonal Theme Dia de los Muertos “Day of the Dead” Theme
Businesses can keep the spirit of the Pumpkin & Dia de los Muertos Festival by participating in this event and decorating their storefront and/or office.
Entry forms and contest rules will be available September 1st and residents or businesses with a Lakeport address are welcome to participate.
A map of participating homes and businesses will be created and posted on both our website and our Facebook Page. All are welcome to walk, bike or drive the route and view the participating yards and businesses.
Then you can vote for your favorites on this website beginning October 26th.
Deadline for entries is October 1, 2020. Judging is expected to take place the week of October 26th and winners will be announced once judging is completed.
