Another year has gone by and the holiday season is here again. The time of year we gather with family and friends to eat too much food and have too much fun. We know this year has been another tough one with a lot of our favorite activities being postponed with hopes that next year will be better. The Lakeport Firefighters are organizing another Lighted Christmas Cruise through the City of Lakeport to spread some holiday cheer to the people of our community!
The route will be very similar to last years cruise with some small changes to make navigation easier for participants towing trailers. We have provided a map that shows the route for this year with arrows that indicate direction of travel. Starting from the Lakeport Elementary School we will cruise the city streets until we reach Lakeport Boulevard and then will return to the school back down Main Street.
The cruise will take place on Friday, December 17th at 6:00 PM and will take approximately an hour to complete the entire route. So mark your calendars and tell everyone you know to come out and see the awesome floats our participants are putting together!
We would like thank everyone for the incredible response we got from the parade last year and for the interest in wanting to see it happen again this year. We can’t wait to see how great the 2021 cruise will be!
We would like to remind everybody who will be watching or participating in the cruise this year to be extremely careful while the cruise is going on. Safety is our #1 priority so please drive safely and make sure to watch for people as many of the streets are narrow and dimly lit.
Priority #2 is having fun! So if you would like to have some fun and participate in the parade, or have any questions you would like answered please send and email to email@example.com.
See you all on the 17th!
