As 2023 approaches, we take a look back at a wonderful and sometimes challenging year. We saw community come together to support one of our own through a life changing treatment, brought to life wonderful events such as the Dicken’s Fair, Haunted House benefitting the Lakeport Volunteer firefighters, The Christmas light parade, many street fairs and activities.
One of the most notable events was the retiring of Barbara Breunig and her husband Paul. They served the LMSA for 30 years. They were instrumental in making it what it is today. You may know them better as Hillside Honda. They have donated and volunteered for nearly every event, party, auction, and community service ever offered by LMSA and we couldn’t have had better family than them.
LMSA was only a partner in some of these activities and we are grateful to have an accepting and generous community such as this. We look forward to partnering with the community on these and new exciting events in 2023.
Our executive director has resigned as of the end of December. We wish her the very best in her new endeavors.
We want to take this opportunity to once again thank Barbara and Paul Breunig for their service and hope to see them at the next event..
Have a safe and fun New Year,
Lakeport Main Street Association
